Only works if youve got written proof of them bodging the sump plug in the first place.
To which they could end up washing it off, leave it running for a day to find no leak and then they may just get an independant engineer to check it and sign it off as an acceptable repair which would kinda bugger up any trading standards threats. When I worked for main dealers they were never fazed by trading standards threats as they've always been there before and know the drill.
