I have been insured with Greenlight for the last 2 years, always thought thier service was top notch, until I came to re-insure this year

....
Can't do it over the phone, as I have had a small gap (July) since the car has not been used, I had to re-input EVERYTHING over the internet, which is a real pain in the arse. Also, the agreed value and like-for-like modification value is crap

, they will only replace like for like in the event the car is repairable, not for theft or write off

. Which makes the like-for-like pretty useless really. The agreed value I was offered for a HIGHLY modied Escort cosworth was 14k

, I was asking for 22k which is fairly reasonable considering the mods total 18k+ without the cost of the car.
I'm sure there are reasons they operate over the net' not the phone now, but for me one of the best things about Greenlight was the customer service and thier like-for-like policy, both of which seem to have changed for the worse

.
Just gone with Adrian flux with all the agreed value for 22k and like for like cover I need for £80 less, but I feel quite sad that I couldn't stick with Greenlight as I have always found them useful
3 mates have recently left Greenlight as well due to the same sort of reasons, I can't get my head round how they won't quote over the phone!
