to make it clear, i have nothing against anyone who claims due to an injury sustained through no fault of their own, ie hit by another driver. in those circumstances id encourage claiming if you lost out and were in pain etc. its just the "i got bumped from behind so blagged a whiplash claim" shit that pisses me off. and i just raised the point in the begining of the guys injuries probably being down to the fact he wasnt wearing his belt - therefore his own fault - so why should he be able to claim?! didnt mean to start a massive row

im not going to let myself get sparked up with anyone inparticular on here either, but i still think speeding in itself doesnt cause accidents as has been backed up by others.

as a bit of an example, i do 1000-1300 miles a week, and speed all the time and so far ive never had an accident because of the speed i was travelling. so says something about how dangerous speeding (when appropriate and safe to do so) must be. ive been driving for 4 years and got a clean licence.
