What company did you go through???? or did you go through the insurance?
Thats a seriously long time unless you have really bad injuries that they had to wait untill ops etc were done to see the outcome??
I can have alot of people vouch for me on here but a lot of my claims get settlesd in about 3-5 months unless there trip/slip (council) or MIB (Uninsured Drivers) takes that little bit longer.
Surely your solicitor would have said "look 1200 were going to refuse and go for more" 1200 is just a basic stress claim really not even mild whiplash.
Thats why i said freedom of speech it all goes down to who you use!

I had private physio for 6 weeks and got about £1200 iirc a bit different to the £3500 i was told i would get. I was mainly bothered about wasted gym membership and getting some physio, the compo was just a bonus and as much as i'd have happily had more i think its proportional to my injuries.
Also my experience is that the whole process is very easy for people to claim, the dr who assessed me basically put words in my mouth i was genuinely injured but it was all just going through the motions.
