i own a cinquecento iand yes i hate it the gear box whines and its dog slow with poor handling but it does what it says on the tin it gets from a to b cheaply and is fairly reliable i actually owned one at 18 too for a yearish and i gave it hell thrashed it to death did burn outs, hand brake turns, doughnuts i could even over steer it pretty much like a fiesta by lifting of on a corner. i bumped it up on two wheels once and off roaded it lol i also used it for work and quite often loaded about 10 bags of plaster in it eventually it died after 15000miles of abuse from a dead fuel pump cracked brake disks no rear shoes knackered shocks broken brake servo and i lost the drivers windscreen wiper and we caved the roof in (got bored and threw stuff off the scaffold at it and parked in next to a mixer)

but my g/f loves em you an buy a low mileage one cheap tax it cheap insure it cheap and repair it cheap imo there a good first car fiestas are rot boxes and are some much more expensive to run and are easy to and more likely to be stolen

btw the one i own now was £200 with a blown head gasket but 10 months mot £70 to repair and in october went straight though its first mot
