As someone above said,worth about £1000.All the american bikes like MARIN,CANNONDALE & SANTA CRUZ are very desirable.The problem is getting someone to shell out that before christmas.
If i were you i'd keep it,it's great exercise and that's a nice bike.Otherwise wack it on e-bay after crimbo ,loads of new years resolutioners wanting to get fit.
Lol, Marin and Crack'n'fails are pretty mass produced compared to a Santacruz....nice bikes all of them
Marin are like the VW of bikes.....boring but very functional and reliable.
Santacruz more like you're Porsche....very functional and relaible but a bit more so
Cannondale are like a early 80's Ferarri......great idea to begin with, usually seduced by looks, however once its broken or you realise the novelty has worn off then its not quite worth the inflated price you paid.
That Marin is a nice model, not flash.....but nice. Second hand bikes arent worth all that though, always a risk of hidden damage and with a full susser i'd be subtracting the cost of a full set of pivot bearings and fork and shock rebuilds to make sure it was a reliable steed. Dependant on the mileage it's seen and how much life the drivetrain has left, bearing in mind 2009 models are out then i'd say £600 to £800 dependant on what I mentioned ( and IMO thats Strong Money )
