Think i'll check out Howdens although i dont have an account with them. I'm assuming the treads on them are MDF? Is it worth paying a bit more and getting pine treads or is MDF ok? Just that stuff seems a bit cardboardy really...
Mdf is fine for treads just make sure its 18mm they use, normally use ply for the risers. Only normally use pine for treads if there not being carpeted.The strings should be pine tho, normally piranna pine as has long straight grain.
