Agree with what a lot of people have said about cossie ownership can be very expensive but a lot of it is luck of the draw. I drive mine hard occassionally but don't abuse it and it's cost me peanuts to run in the two years i've owned it - it's only needed a new water pump and a split steering rack gaitor replacing. Obviously there are oil/filter changes and it's needed new front discs and pads but you get these costs with any car. If you're lucky and you don't abuse it then it MAY not be that expensive.

The best piece of advice I was given when I bought mine was pay to get it set up professionally. For the sake of £150 quid it is the well worth it. Don't fork out four grand and blow up a good car because you were too tight to pay to get it set up.
