American Chopper is good and Ive just finished going through all 5 seasons to catch up. American Chopper is filmed how many days a year? Each project takes around 4 weeks and they reduce it to 45-90mins viewing, showing the best bits. It makes Paul Junior look proper lazy (Leaving most work to Vinne in the first 4 seasons and now Rick, Mike, etc do most of it). It makes good viewing cause its not consistantly in the workshop or if it is, it shows they pratting about.
Chop Shop is the biggest load of wank Ive ever seen! I watched the one where the bloke wanted a bacon sandwich car made, but they turned it into a nice looking car (Can't remember what it was). The programme didn't interest me in anyway as they were not building anything decent and it didn't show hardly any of the work carried out, just the people building the car and they bored me rigid!
If your gonna do a UK one go to somewhere like Reyland, Harvey Gibbs, MAD, Andrew G, etc and get them to build proper project cars or show different tuners/builders in each season.
that was last years cars i put a stop to the spacers an spring cuting as ive said before we get 8 grand to build the cars and we dont get free v8 crate engines like chip cant compare these programs they are totaly different discovery uk dont alow advertising like the us wayne at pro will tel u that id just like to do a show like what we are doing but with a budget and cars we can all relate to ie. somthing like a evo powered spaceframed 106
