a tip go into power management and check that your off buttons aint set to sleep mine were factory so it ran the battery flat everytime i closed it, does the blue light flash when you shut the lid?
yea the main "off" button is for sleep mode but just to the right is the shutdown not realy messed with the settings on it
i work abroad alot so i needed one to watch films on ect as i said not the smallest but it was another 20 quid or so for the wide screen so it had to be done
