i would say processor or mainboard.

unplug everything from the mainboard apart from 1 module of ram and the processor.

so unplug any cd devices, extra ram, e.t.c and try to boot eliminate everything you can before purchasing anything.

norm if theres beeps (depending on how many there are) will norm indicate memory, ide cable wrong way round or somthing along those lines.
