what a waste of time,removing a standard filter(if he had done)with a cold air feed then replace it with a cone filter exposed to heat soak up the back of the engine.

the things you are laughing at on here might actually make it go better,i.e leave whare it is and remove the standard filter(not the box)why?????
stick it inside the standard box!why???
