For 2.5k, your getting a nail of an Evo IV though mate. For an immculate one like this, looking at a good 4-4.5k.
Like has been said, MR engine internals are generally good for 400/400 (although not much more), so simply dropping an MR lump straight in would be a nice, easy, cost-effective way of achieving a reliable engine. If your considering bigger turbo's, etc for the future though, id stick to your original plan and go the forged route.
