Hmmm, lets see how many pattern makers would pay £100,000 + for a die to make wings for a 20 year old car ?, exactly they don't they buy old dies off of the same people who make them for ford, otherwise they would never sell enough to recoup the cost of the die alone, true the dies are a bit worn by this time, but still perfectly good.
I don't go in for all this genuine stuff, as I can't think of a single maker who makes his own parts, but your money your choice.

Fair point my friend but down to experience years ago, I bought pattern wings for my mk4 cortina and they were total pish, once fitted there were huge gaps where the wings married up or should have married up to the body of the vehicle and I couldn't have possibly used anymore dum dum than I already had done, that's why I say if originals are still there its worth the few extra pence to aqquire them
