I feel very sorry for the dogs but at the end of the day, if it helps improve our ability to save the quality of life of a badly scarred 5 year old who has been in a fire, then its a worthwhile sacrifice.

Especially if it means an innocent toddler getting their sight back by transplanting a damaged eye as well like in this experiment.
