Right my computer got a shitty virus on it which unfortunately required a rebuild

Now after seeking advixe I have set the machine to have a master user account which I use to add programs etc and then a general area which I use day to day with limited rights. Problem I'm having is when I power the machine up and log into the general area it won't connect to the internet and I get "unable to display web page". I check the connection and it's apparently there and working. If I sign out and sign into the master account and click internet it functions fine and when I sign back into the general account it then too works fine.

Any ideas as I'm stumped and it's giving me the hump
