got an eee 901 myself, best of the lot IMO, as it has a mega battery life, thats important for me, makes for 2films on a 4hr flight, get about 6hrs play back of video,.

bought the linux one as the same price as the XP model, but you get more storage memory, 16gb, tried linux for 2 weeks but did my head in just couldn't get on with basic / advance modes and all the text boxes, so intalled XP pro sp3 and its all good.

added 2gb ram, and a 16gb SDHC card, plenty of space, nice high res 8.9"

ohh and out of the 8.9" screens netbooks the 901s the smallest another Win
