i can see a bit of each angle here and agree with both sides, but the rules have been set out to accomodate a happy medium.

Marky, im one of those twits that recently 'copied' and 'pasted' a mates advert from another forum over to here for the sale of his car.
i genuinly didnt even think id done anything wrong, until a few days later the actual mate replied on his own for sale thread.
a day later i got a slap on the wrist from the mod of the room and the advert was withdrawn - i completely accept that as i was in the wrong and broke the rules, no arguement from me on that one.


But on the other hand, surely there is no harm in me advertising a car for someone who isnt a PF user.
IE: my dads recently been taken quite ill and it looks like in a safety point of view his driving liciense is going to be withdrawn, so he will no longer be needing his 54 plate mondeo.
are you telling me i cant advertise the car that belongs to my 63 year old dad, but he has to sign up on here and pay £10 for the privelige?
