I fancy changing the doors in my flat and seeing as my g/f works for howdens we could do it for next to nothing if they dont need to be fire doors.

there is a big price difference, about 40 quid a door more.

does anyone know if the regulations say they need to be fire doors with fire rated hinges and door closers in all flats?

currently they are fire doors with percos. but the hinges are just normal. there is no intumescent strip on any of them.


any ideas?
