check your rubber engine and gearbox mountings, especially as yours is a 4x4 its a well known failure point, usually drivers side next to the turbo -it could well be one is shot and in left hand corners your engine could actually be moving and putting a strain on part of the engine loom if its tight or held in place with a tie strap etc and causing a momentary disconnection then when your straight again the strain is reduced and the cable goes back into place
