Every other week you see items advertised for so called family or friends who have nothing to do with this site, its simply not fair on the users of this board.
Sorry, thats ridiculous.
This is supposed to be community. Are you seriously saying that if my 55yr old mate Paul round the corner who has 4 brand new Rs500 whaletails (True) decides to sell them, I shouldn't be able to make it known on PF so the enthusiasts that need one can buy it? I should tell him he has to join a forum first, which would mean him buying a PC, and an internet connection? Come off it... Who's the winner? NOBODY!

Anyone who doesn't know what they get for their gold membership simply has to read the description here. It says exactly what it has always said.

GOLD MEMBERSHIPS
  • Receive an insurance discount from Greenlight.
  • Can start new topics with items for sale in the For Sale forums
  • Access to either the Mens' Room or Ladies' forum.
  • Storage of 300 private messages instead of 100.
  • Access to the Misplaced Your Dummy forum.

I was merely quoting you mate, nobody else said it.

I was merely trying to enquire as to what priveleges i actually got for my gold membership fee!!
Answered above, which I'm sure you would have read before purchasing as you needed to do so to find the link to pay it.

I'm just merely irritated that i specifically paid my membership so as i could advertise a part i had for sale but really all i needed to do was ask someone who was already a gold member to do it for me!!
But as you now know, that is against site policy. If anyone unsure about site policy, all you have to do is refer to it here:

Surely a non member of this site also comes under the non gold member banner?
No, to be a non Gold Member, you would have to be a member to start with. Had i wanted to exclude anyone who wasn't a passionford member, i would have stated exactly that, but i didn't, i excluded non GOLD MEMBERS, not NON PASSIONFORD MEMBERS.
