cheers mate, stripped the head today and its a mess, dont know what cam is in it but its totally knackers, all but 3 of the lobes are pretty much worn down and rounded off and 2 of the lifters were stuck in the bores due to burr on them. Got them out in the end, thats now ready for the machine shop for a good clean, im tempted with having a little go of porting the inlet and exhaust, nothing too crazy but I have noticed where there is soot due to the exhaust ports not being as big as the exhaust manifold, maybe if I gently open them up to match it will help air flow?? doubt I will have the balls to do this though.lol
