but if the car was sold with the rs500 block along with the car-it is still altogether an rs500,which could easily have the correct block re-fitted.
if he isnt selling it with the correct bottom end,then that would be a different story.
its always going to be a lower end of the market rs500(which is how i valued it when i bought/sold it).problem is establishing where the bottom end of the market is,especially as time goes on and they become rarer.
maybe 17k or so is bottom end money now...........
i would personally refit the bottom end,sell the big spec motor seperate and then sell the car as a complete rs500.
