So I don't want to remove the sump. I figure I can drain the oil, clean up the sump, scuff the paint off and rough up the metal and JB Weld the bung in (after drilling).

The sump is not under pressure, JB Weld is perfect for this. Just need a quality fitting that the JB will bond to and a spot on hole drilled.

Anyone else do the same?
