I went down this road when doing my escort turbo but never finished the car i bought
1.8 zetec engine with 130bhp cams
modified the oil return on the sump so it was in the front
got a zetec escort sump with the gap for your exhaust to sit in
fully rebuilt the engine i used a decompression plate but forged pistons would be better i reckon.
i bought a megasquirt ecu which is simple enough to use and set up the car.
but then i broke the car up so never drove it but ive recently had a 2.0 zvh turbo escort on megasquirt and it was rapido was about 230-240 bhp on low-ish boost
