hi there just wondered if anyone else ever had problems with cracked turbo core

i have a t35 and the internal water jacket has cracked ,which in turn has turned my oil to mayoinaise

thought it was a headgasket at first but after changing it for a new 611 gasket (old one on inspection was fine)
it still turned the oil to mush
cut a long story short i bypassed the water feed on the turbo which stopped the mayonaisse syndrome

once i realized i changed the offending t35 for a spare t34 i had and now is all fine


my question is has anyone else done this or heard of it as i tried search and found nothing ????
just wondered how it could happen
