from an mot point of view its still legal to drive ! hence why you are able to get a 13 month ticket or offer the vehicle for test 30 days prior to expirery ! point being so you can repair and still use the said vehicle

From a police prerspective its illegal and your fucked end of so in heinzsight id not use till passed but there is a good chance that if you got pulled and had to go to court you could win as vosa have put you in that position by offering 13 month tickets or 30 day early tests.
