That's diabolical, not wanting to know!!
I use a pipe place, and they do anything and everything, they even say to me sometimes, they are not sure it will work, but won't invoice me for it if it doesn't, can't say fairer than that.
They may have some weird idea about high pressure, but in hydraulic terms it is not even a dribble worth of pressure, no reason at all they could do it.
If you or anyone else gets stuck again, just get some banjo's(cut old one off) and use some OPA, this is well able to do this job, and very flexible, has a indefinite life as well, well longer than the car anyway, and cheap, 16mm I just used for my tank to pump was £4.69 a metre, but they will sell any length you want normally, so wouldn't have cost me £2 if I had took old bit, but wanted some spare.
