Im guessing in the long run it would end up costing more to build a rep and eventually drop in an cossie lump rather than just to get one in the first place.
Insurance could be more too as it would end up as a highly modified car compared to the original?
Just out of interest, have you got any quotes for a proper cossie? There are some young people on here with them, so it is possible
