Cat c means uneconomical to repair doesent mean its a lot of damage just menas it cost alot to repair .
i have repaired alot of cat c cars and sold them on it will take a while to get the log book or if it is a cat c then the DVLA will write to you letting you no that your car needs a VIC check or Vosa this will cost about £355 last time i did it all they do is check that the car is not a ringer or a cut and shut but you will need a valid Mot to take it to a Vosa
