and don't forget how lucky you are living in this country compared to other parts of the world.

we have no natural disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes etc to deal with (except the odd bit of rain now and again)

we have a welfare state

we have a national health service

we have a temperate climate

we have opportunities for education and improvement

we have a democracy and freedom of speech and religion

overall, it's a pretty good place to live and we must be grateful for those who sacrificed their lives to make sure that it remained that way
