I am very impressed by this thread and the way you guys think of it. The 11th of November is for us Poles the independence day, commemorating our regained independance after 123 years under boots of foreign occupiers, yet not too many people talk about it in their private lives, and I haven't seen a one thread on our internet forums about it, most people leave the celebrations to politicians, honour guards of the armed forced etc. Tbh I am a bit ashamed of that .

It's great that you remember about the servicemen and civilians who made sacrifices for the better future
