i got a new relay and have fitted it, checked where the cables come from the windscreen and wd40'd the pink/yellow connector and the earth onto the chassis, checked the fuse on the auxillary fusebox which is ok. there's now power to the switch and the switch always had power for illumination,green glow.

i run the car, it only works when its running doesn't it?!

i press the switch and the yellow light on the switch blinks on and thats it, when it blinks the relay clicks and thats all it does.

it's a 96 ghia x model but i don't think it has abs, all 3 fuses are missing also for the abs.

where's the main connector block you mentioned?? i don't have abs so where abouts is it in the bay?

the haynes doesn't list a fuse in the std fuse box for it and i've tried every fuse to make sure none are blown and the only ones missing are in the abs positions.
