I don't think she has wasted muscle, she was just getting pain. I don't think it was a full time pain, more coming and going.

She's not had the operation yet, I'm guessing it may not happen now as it's been a couple of years. She used to work at a private hospital, so got the diagnosis/test stuff on her works health insurance. (silly moo left that job)
