Why the fook do people advertise cars then after you arrange to go pick it up 700 mile journey,decide they cant sell it

So i sorted baby sitter out for the day fooked about getting money out the bank etc get up early to go for the new car.look at my phone and there is a txt off the person buying car off saying he still needs to use the car?

SO WHY THE FOOK PUT IT UP FOR SALE so now just out of priciple i wont be buying the car
