I can see why you would think they might need strengthening, but never seen it myself, unless it is a rally car of course or something like that.
The triangulated rear brace is a simple affair with a straight bar going across the space between the struts mount bolts inside boot, then imagine a area on the boot floormid way between the two ends of the straight bar, two extra bars come from these points and meet at the centre point on the boot floor, forming a triangle shape, hence it's name, debateable whether it is needed on a road car, but it can't hurt, and looks cool!!
