I have a queastion about the oil pump in ours car.
In Haneys book they write that if you want to remove the oil pump, you must lowering the engine or take the engine out.

Is this the only way to change to a new pump?

One more question pleae. Should a go for a HP pump on ebay or should a buy a standard from Ford? Is there any side effects on the HP pump?
