What i'm on about is exactly what i said above!
You CANNOT fit new lifters to a cam that has already been run in (20mins @ around 2000rpm if done properly, if he didnt then that explains the problem!), because the Cam will be hard and the lifters will be soft and as a result the cam will destroy the lifters in no time.
