when you change dizzy did you put it back in the same place
becous the dizzy needs setting with the computer plug in
cous the timing is out the ecu wont let it rev
I bought the car knowing it wouldn't rev past 3500rpm...
I changed the dizzy to try and cure it...
Still won't rev past 3500rpm, just banging on the rev limiter...
I've also fitted a new timing belt and its timed to perfection... still the same
I do have a idea on what i'm doing you know
Took xrt mart out in it last night... its hopefully going into his work shortly to go on vag-com...
I'm sure i'll get there with it... Its worth asking about though as it is a strange one...
