Many people seem to have the attiude of 'you get what you pay for'. Well thats not always the case.

In fact ive known £1500 paint jobs be of a far higher standard than a £4000+ paint job. Many factors reflect the price, so top price does not always mean a top job at all. Bigger companies may have to charge more as they have higher costs/overheads, doesnt mean it will be a better job. People who think 'you get what you pay for' very often get taken advantage of for this very reason.

Go on reccommendations and DONT judge a paint job by its price tag. Ive seen and heard of so many people get rippoed off by trusting a complete stranger who has just quoted them a million pound, because they assume its a top job.

A paint job is only as good as the people working on the car. Use main dealers as an example. Their prices will be twice as much as your local small bodyshops price, but it alomost certainly wont be twice the job. You need to find a painter that takes pride in their work and relys purely on word of mouth to generate business. This way the job HAS to spot on, or they go under, so they put 110% in to the work.

Go and ask to see some of their work, and work in progress, then go and see the finished result. Ask to see some repair work in progress also, then go see the result when finished. If your happy with the result against the price, then go for it. If not, go elsewhere.
