11. Buying or selling items as a trader.
Members either known to be, or considered by the web team to be traders must be registered as official PassionFord traders and have paid the current fee to be able to enter any sale advertisements whatsoever on the forum or be registered with a business name. Registration is also required in order to place or reply to wanted adverts.
In addition to this, because a Trade user will build up a level of trust and trade recognition within the community, they will no longer be allowed to trade on PassionFord or retain their trade name if they chooses to withdraw their trade status and site support. This is to stop unscrupulous traders registering for a few months and then trading for free on the back of the status built up in that time. The selling ban for ex-traders includes offering items for sale in signatures and posts as well as replying to wanted adverts.
Please Note: Traders found to be publically referring work to ex- PF traders will be asked to leave PassionFord as a trader as it is unfair to other paying traders. The Bottom line, if you want to trade using PassionFord, you must pay the traders fee.
PassionFords Banner traders are allowed one "sale related" topic in the general Discussion forum only at any one time as an extra perk for his increased financial input to the site.
Please be advised these rules will be updated/altered at any time, so please review them frequently.
I believe that recent events (someone buying a car off her to the readdvertise on here for spare parts for example) mean that the rules are not clear.
Maybe you should include that people are not allowed to advertise for parts wanted if they are a trader, in their known trade (i.e a mobile phone repair shop asking for broken mobile phones),unless they pay traders fees.
