Solid disc (2wd) is 10mm.
Vented disc (4x4) is 22mm.
So the carrier will be the just a bit bigger than the above widths - that is the only difference

You can't use a 2wd caliper on a vented disc, as it will not be wide enough, even if the carrier is, vented disc need vented type calipers, as I said don't know the actual width of the caliper, but as said disc width is as above but doesn't help if you don't know what either one or both are width wise.

reading what you've written mike, you seem to be suggesting that the 2wd caliper will fit over the 4wd disc with a 4wd bracket
it won't mate, not when you have to put pads in there as well
i've got a spare one at home somewhere i'll measure up to give you dimensions if they are needed
