obviously 300 miles would be excessive. but at what point do you cross the line from reasonable to excessive? and a magistrates opinion could be torn to shreds by a decent lawyer in appeal. is 100 miles excessive as in the original post? id say so but unless there is definitive guidelines then its all debatable
