Bought a N-reg VW Golf 2 litre Gti 8V last weekend cheap...
It has a few issues, main problem is the rev limiter is at 3500rpm... I know this aint the right forum for it, but if anyone can help me with a Golf site that might be able to help me with this problem, would be much appreciated... Or if anyone on here has come across the same problem

I've changed the dizzy, rotor arm, dizzy cap and done the timing belt just to make sure the timimg marks are spot on... and still it hits the limiter at 3.5K...
