Thinking of ordering a newcam for my series2 with Solid followers, anybody had an experience with them?

Mates got them in his 1600 CVH non turbo - came off the rollers at 147bhp at the wheels, only thing is when its on full chat the solid followers seem to be qute noisy. is this normal???
