Ignition ECU (silver) =
The det sensor is best removed off the engine, and put out of the way, but still connected,
as disconnecting it, can cause retarded timing.
If a knock sensor ecu is fitted to a no knock sensor engine/loom, best wire in a det sensor at the ecu plug (pins 9 and 10), and fit a sensor out of the way.
S1 85 spec is Blue red Blue.
S2 86 spec is Blue red white. As above, but now with knock sensor and 2nd temp sensor
S2 88 spec is Blue red black. As above but with low octane adjustment and knock threshold adjustment
S2 90 spec is Hearts hash diamonds.
Fuel ecu (black) =
Wiring needs sorting for the TPS , you need to bridge two of the S1 fuel ecu's terminals, as the the S1 ECU expects the TPS to earth through itself, where as on an S2 it is grounded to chassis earth.
S1 = blue code, hasn't got a rev limitor,
S2 = green code, has got one.
