but surely if the loom has a knock sensor, and the ecu runs in conjunction with said knock sensor, unplugging it will give u the same sort of results as disconnecting any engine sensor, engine goes into limp mode, retards ignition, n runs like a bag of wank?

fine if u run an definite early spec ecu, otherwise, thats surely a problem
