i've read the link, it says they voted 9-0 to withdraw from fixed point penalty camera's funding

it doesn't say they are going to be ripped out or that there will be no speed camera's operating in the area and nothing baout the new specs cameras that are going to dominate the rest of the country like they do in nottingham

if they put out a press statement that said "no more fixed speed cameras in swindon and the surrounding areas" that would be different

now they are just telling us they aren't going to pay the government to be able to use them as they will find other ways to catch speeding motorists, which is worse i think
