also, i know this from experience as trying to fit the 2.0 and the 2.9 diff into a 2.8 sump meant the diff was sitting about an inch proud

should have taken pics when mick did his, but he'll confirm this, his sump now leaks a litle bit where the grooves in the crank seals at the end don't quite line up with the 2.9 block
