lots of opinions on this thread

but not alot of fact

the difference between a xe and a v6 is around 25kgs and imho i doubt anyone could tell the difference especialy as some of the v6 is actually further back in the engine bay than a xe. so only 1/2 that 25 is in front of where it would be on a xe

and they both use the F20 gearbox so there is no difference there.

also the difference between a xe and a v6 is only 20bhp but this is not really true of a mildly uprated v6 as they will do 200bhp very easly.

they are a bit of a slugish engine, but nothing that a lightweight flywheel wont change (standard v6 one is a scary 15kgs) and you can replace it with a 6kgs iirc xe flat type.

they only handle like shit when you get idiots putting a xe or v6 in on 1.2 lowering springs, get some real suspension on there designed for a 2lt and there awesome cars.

jonny bravo done a 8:55 iirc around the ring with a totally standard xe in a nova.
